I can't talk about my family without explaining how everything fits together. We have a big extended and complicated family. This doesn't even begin to explain the dynamics of everything, but just tells who is who. I have this posted on Facebook to explain who everyone in my pictures are. I wanted to post it here as well because we do lots of things as a family, and instead of having to explain everything every time I talk about things, I will just do this!
Dave Derrick is my dad. Cris Derrick is my biological mother. They had 3 kids together - Tony is the oldest, I'm the middle child, and Steve is the youngest.
They got divorced, and my dad married Linda. Linda had 3 kids from her first marriage - Matt is the oldest, Bryan is the middle, and Jenny is the youngest.
My dad's parents are Lois and Frank. Grandpa Frank passed away in November of 2010. Cris's mom is Nita Stoltz. Linda's mom is Emily.
Tony has 2 sons - Kyler and Noah, who share the same mother. (we don't talk about her) He also has 3 daughter - Ryan, and the twins Jordan and Jayden - and their mom is Rachael.
Steve has a son Johnathon. He's in a relationship with Mary, who has a daughter named Nicole.
I have 4 (step)kids - Brad (lives in Texas with his wife Caroline, her 2 children from her first marriage (Eriq and Ocean) and their 3 boys Luke, Caleb, and Levi.) Mike lives with us for the time being. (I also claim Mike's girlfriend Sara as one of my "kids") Nikita moved to Texas, but lived with us before that. And Derek is the youngest. He lives with us too. (I also claim Derek's friend Logan as one of my "kids")
My (step)kids' mom is Debbie, now Grimesey. She's married to Dennis, and they have 2 sons together, Denny and Xach.
I have one daughter from my first marriage, Kaylie. Her father is Harley.
Jay and I have one daughter together, her name is Wynter (or Pooh, or Bear, or crazy monster baby!).
Casper David is our angel baby. He would have been our second child together.
My brother Matt has no kids, but he plans to take over the world, and uses all the nieces and nephews as his minions. (think Despicable Me)
Bryan is married to Laura, and they have dogs.
Jenny is engaged to Caesar, and they have a whole brood of kids too. Jenny's biological kids are Kierstin (Ernest is her sweetie), Colin and Dion. and Caesar has Jordan and Jazmyn.
